Jackson Public Schools is pleased to present links to pages and publications  we feel may be of interest to parents and students.  The intent of this page is to offer information that is interesting, helpful, and up-to-date.

The best way to protect your kids online?  Talk to them.  Free online safety guidebook for Parents:  "Net Cetera: Chatting with Kids About Being Online" is designed to help parents teach children about Internet safety.

It addresses many topics that children should be aware of in using the Internet, including the safe use of social networking websites, dealing with cyberbullying, and how to protect computers from viruses and spyware. The guidebook is available to download for free on OnGuardOnline.gov, which is the federal government’s online safety website, or by clicking the logo on the left.  This is a great resource!
