 Meet Mr. Moore

Principal,
Amy Firth Middle School

On behalf of the staff, I welcome you to Amy Firth Middle School. The purpose of our school is to offer a warm and caring atmosphere in which students can fulfill their academic potential, learn the skills necessary to redirect their lives, and make choices that will help them become cooperative, self-sufficient, responsible adults.

Amy Firth Middle School offers short, three-week marking periods, small class sizes, and caring adults to help young people grow academically and socially. We reward students for positive choices and accomplishments while maintaining a firm and consistent environment. We encourage parents and families to become involved in the education and activities of our students.

Born and raised in Jackson, Michigan and a graduate of Jackson High School, I am committed to the young people of this community. I believe that all children can learn and that some students require an alternative setting to reach their full potential
