Sharp Park Academy Mission Statement:  We, at Sharp Park Academy, are dedicated to the educational development of each child. We hold that ALL students will learn the essential academic and social skills necessary for success in the world.

Principal:	Mrs. Ellen Seguin has enjoyed a career at Jackson Public Schools for 22+ years. She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts and two Master of Arts degrees from Eastern Michigan University.  Mrs. Seguin is also certified as a Learning Disabled and Emotionally Impaired teacher.   Mrs. Seguin and her husband have two sons.
History:	The former location of Sharp Park Middle School, this building became Sharp Park Elementary School in 1998.   In 2004, it opened  its doors as Sharp Park Academy.
Demographics:	Sharp Park Academy is located in a country setting just south of Sharp Park, at Horton and Park Roads.  Sharp Park Academy is a School of Choice serving preschool through 4th grade students.
Curriculum:	In addition to a core curriculum set forth by Jackson Public Schools and aligned with the State of Michigan Standards and Benchmarks, Sharp Park Academy integrates fine arts and technology into the curriculum. Foreign language, computers, music, art and dance is offered to all students, which includes German Language Enrichment.
